I had two major bills to pay—a $2,600 student loan, and a $1,130 hospital bill. A friend of mine gave me a copy of the Oral Roberts’ book, The Miracle of Seed-Faith. I am on disability and by the time all my bills are paid, I have $200 a month to live on. After I read Oral’s book, I felt led of the Lord to sow a seed into my church. About a week later, I received a letter from the hospital saying my outstanding bill was being written off, so I don’t have to pay it. A day later, I got news that my student loan is being discharged. It’s all thanks to the miracle of seed-faith giving!

In 1969, my father was killed in a car wreck. I was 11 years old. By the time I was 15 years old, I was in a state hospital. But at age 26, I gave my heart to the Lord. I was baptized in the Holy Ghost the same year. Then God healed me and called me to preach and serve in the local church. He has used me in the gifts of healing all these years. I have survived Crohn’s disease for seven years. It has not been easy. I have lost a lot of blood and had at least twenty blood transfusions. There have been times that the hospital staff was amazed that I made it. My son was diagnosed with cancer in his back. The doctors told us it did not look good. But after hearing Richard Roberts speak about the principles of seed-faith giving and sowing against your need on The Place for Miracles, I called the Abundant Life Prayer Group for prayer and sowed a $100 seed out of my need. I also used anointing oil to anoint my son and pray over him in faith for his healing from God. My son then had surgery, and it went perfectly. There is no evidence of cancer in his back!

My daughter, Vanessa, went to the hospital with a high fever, just a week after she gave birth to her baby daughter. I believe in the miracle power of God and the ministry of Richard and Lindsay Roberts. I had arthritis pain that had gotten unbearable in my legs, back, and hips. I decided to turn to God and just put this pain in His hands.
